Superior Woodcraft Reviews and Testimonials

Superior Woodcraft's cabinetry provides value.

Superior Woodcraft's cabinetry is enduring, which brings many benefits.  The cabinetry's value runs deep; far beyond its beauty and utility.   One example is that Superior Woodcraft's cabinetry is long lasting, which means you won't need to replace our cabinetry for a long long time.  Next, since Superior Woodcraft's cabinetry is custom made we can always replicate our work and create a perfectly matching finish - even after 25 years of service.  Many people need to replace the entire kitchen when appliances need to be replaced or changes are made to the living space.  That is not necessary with Superior Woodcraft's cabinetry.  Many clients simply alter their existng Superior Woodcraft cabinetry or add additional Superior Woodcraft cabinetry instead of remodeling the entire kitchen.   Many Superior Woodcraft clients used this benefit and embedded value for cabinetry that is 25 years old or even 40 years old.  Most other cabinetry does not provide this benefit and value.  This embedded value that comes with Superior Woodcraft's cabinetry and will save you money over the years.  Read about Mollie's experience with Superior Woodcraft's cabinetry.

Perfect Match

Thanks Superior, Thanks Steve. Because of the exceptional quality of my 25 year old Superior Woodcraft cabinets, I was able to reuse them in our new kitchen design. Steve was the original cabinet maker in 1985. He was able to perfectly match the new peices needed to update the design. Good quality always pays off. We are glad that we could support a local business.

A large trend has emerged where people favor locally grown and raised food; the trend is called locavore. Besides consuming quality fresh food and buying locally produced food is important to our economy. Becoming a locavore helps Bucks County’s Agribusiness. Here are some important facts you might not know:

What is Agribusiness?

Agribusiness is an enterprise that derives a significant portion of its revenues from the sale of agricultural products or sales to agricultural producers. Agribusiness is the number one industry in Pennsylvania.

Bucks County, Pa is fortunate to have many farms where you can purchase fruits, vegetables and other farm fresh products. However, many residents and visitors do not know about these farms. The goal of this article is to change that fact and encourage readers to buy locally grown foods. Doing so will  help support our our local businesses and  local economy, which is a benefit to the entire community.

There are many additional benefits for you and your family – buying directly from the producers is a great way to explore and discover Bucks County. It is a fun family outing that can teach young children about farming and the origins of their food. A U-Pick orchard is always fun and a tasty experience for the entire family.

Below is are links to great guide to help get you started on your locavore adventure.

The Penn State Cooperative Extension-Bucks County and the farming community created, "Bucks County Farms" as the premier website on Bucks County farm fresh products, vineyards and tree farms.

In support of Bucks County Agribusiness, Penn State has produced this website, "Bucks County Farms" with the assistance of Bucks County farmers and the Penn State Cooperative Extension-Bucks County. This site is intended to answer the questions where and when to obtain farm-fresh products, locally produced wine and where to select and cut your holiday tree.

Initiatives such as these are helping to build a large and stable market for farm products, protecting local jobs, and strengthening our local economy. Bucks County Agribusiness enhances the community and the quality of life that characterizes Bucks County.

Notes:

Locavore - It is part of the concept of local purchasing and local economies, a preference to buy locally produced goods and services - particularly related to food economies. Learn more about locavore.

Buy Local - Support yourself: Several studies have shown that when you buy from an independent, locally owned business, rather than a nationally owned businesses, significantly more of your money is used to make purchases from other local businesses, service providers.

Good For Your Wallet, Good For Your Planet- Part 2

Part 1 of Good For Your Wallet, Good For Your Planet  focused on the easiest way to highest impact design choice you can making - Painting.  In Part 2 we focus on being very frugal, cost effective, sensbile and sustainable in making our design changes.

The most cost effective: Reduce

Reduce!, Reduce!, Reduce!  Look around your home and asses what items are not enhancing your decor. Cluttered rooms overloaded with too much furniture and accessories can feel overwhelming. Some common mistakes are:

* All furniture placed against the walls. If space allows, bring furniture away from walls to create a more inviting seating area. Try arranging some seating or storage on an angle to avoid a boxy feeling to the room and create flow.

*Too much stuff! What is crucial? If you have belongings that aren’t being used or have no personal meaning for you, consider donating them to a local charity. With fewer items, rooms look bigger and feel more spacious. Rooms can be like a great outfit. Wonderful accessories can make it eye catching and engaging, but too much can make it look like your crazy Aunt.

Now that you reduced consider the reuse part of the equation.  Many charities exist to help others reuse the items you no longer want or need.  Charities like Impact Service Corp of Philadelphia through their Building Materials Exchange and Habitat of Humanity of Bucks County through their ReStore accept used furniture, kitchen cabinets, kitchen appliances and more.  These organizations help get items into the hands of people who can utilize them.  Donations to most of these charities will allow you to take a tax deduction for the value of the the donated items - that's as good as getting an extra bonus for a little extra work.  You can use the money you save on taxes to buy the paint noted in Part 1 of this series. What a winning combination: you reduce clutter in your home, others use your unwanted items, which diverts materials from the landfills and you get a tax deduction in the process.  Now that's sustainable vs the alternative - landfills and purchasing new items.

Stay tuned for Part 3 of Good For Your Wallet, Good For Your Planet - Worth the Investment.
