Gerard Ciccarello of Covenant Kitchens and Baths in Westbrook Connecticut utilized Superior Woodcraft's custom made cabinetry to create a kitchen that provides utility, beauty and harmony. Covenant Kitchens and Superior Woodcraft’s project was so successful that it graces the cover of Dream Kitchens and Baths – Best of the Best-30 Timeless Looks, Spring 2011.
Cheerful Formality – is used to describe this wonderful kitchen. The remodeling project, started with an Aga stove, which is the focal point. The mantel anchors the Aga stove while creating the feelng of a traditional hearth. Another interesting element is that older German decorative tiles were used as the backsplash. This is a nice touch of complimenting the new with the old. There are so many details in this kitchen that it is impossible to list all of them. In addition to great designs the elements that make this kitchen a special place are the kitchen’s rich history and tradition that is very personal and brings life to the space. After reading the entire story you will realize that this is more than a mere remodeling project - it is a tribute to family, ancestry and a warm-hearted lifestyle. The Story Behind the Story – A homeowner’s dream kitchen.
